Pukwudgie by eoghankerrigan Pukwudgie by eoghankerrigan
I read J.K. Rowling's new Ilvermorny short story and I liked William, but I drew these before finding out that a Pukwudgie is a real mythical creature that looks more like a porcupine....
I should do more research next time...

I actually got Horned Serpent but I like the idea of Pukwudgies as a creature.

I've been working on a pukwudgie myself. I'm actually Abenaki decent so pukwudgie is part of my family history. I haven't gotten anything as good as these but I'm working on it :)..,

Ooh interesting! Would these be accurate in your point of view? I only discovered them yesterday so I'm a bit ignorant.

Actually pretty good. You have the troll aspect down, I think maybe the hair longer and a bit coarser. Play with with it a bit you're definitely on the right track...:)

I did one more that might be a bit more accurate but also maybe a bit far in the porcupine direction

I do like the quills on the last one. I visualize the back like that starting at the head and proceeding down the back, nice job!

Remember
  • they can transform into a walking porcupine (it looks like a porcupine from the back, and the front is half-troll[clarification needed], half-human and walks upright)

So you're drawing I would say is almost spot on to what my vision is :). The porcupine aspect is something they transform into. I'd say your long hair gives the chance for that :)

    EDIT: Can I share this?
